Have insurance-related complaints or need to report a testing scam? Call one of the hotlines listed below.

Insurance complaints and coverage

If you have a complaint regarding your health insurance and COVID-19 coverage, you can submit a complaint via the Department of Commerce’s online portal or call Commerce’s Consumer Service Center at 651-539-1600 or 1-800-657-3602 and choose option #9 for COVID-19 testing or insurance related complaints.


Report fraudulent tests or other scams

The Attorney General's office accepts COVID-19 related complaints having to do with fraud, health-related scams (miracle cures, products, or treatments), government imposter and financial relief scams, cyber crime, financial crime, hate crime, or other civil or criminal law concerns.

You can file a complaint with the Attorney General or submit feedback by phone Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., using the following numbers:

    Minnesota Relay - 1-800-627-3529


Issues with getting testing results

Nasal swab community tests
You should get your results back in 2-3 days. Sometimes there are laboratory delays. If you don’t get your results, call 1-855-612-0677 for assistance. 
 
Saliva community tests 
Results are typically available 48 hours after your sample arrives at the lab, but there can sometimes be delays. If you have questions regarding saliva testing, please email mn@vaulthealth.com or call 800-800-5698. Please do not contact MDH for results.
