Partners in Policymaking Class 42: Graduation
The Minnesota Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities congratulates Class 42 for completing the graduation weekend. Julie Guidry and Dupree Edwards from Upstream Arts presented on Saturday morning. Families and friends joined the graduates on Saturday afternoon. Joseph Shapiro, National Public Radio, shared stores dating back to 1987 when the first draft of the Americans with Disabilities Act was underway through his current coverage of disability issues. Jillian Nelson, Jenny Arndt, and Sarah St Louis, all Partners in Policymaking graduates, described their work since completing the training program. On Saturday, Upstream Arts described their work in universal design and full inclusion.
