Mandatory PMP Registration
The following statutory amendment to the Minnesota Prescription Monitoring Program becomes effective on August 1, 2016 and applies to Minnesota licensed physicians and physician assistants: Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 152.126, subdivision 6(c).

Governor Dayton's Appointment of MN Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission
October 23, 2015, Governor Mark Dayton appointed Jon Thomas, M.D., the current Board member, and Ruth Martinez, M.A., the Executive Director of the Board, as Commissioners to represent Minnesota on the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission.
