Disconnected youth

Cumulatively for the period 2010 to 2014, 9% of Minnesota 16- to 24-year-olds were neither working nor in school.

This rate varies by racial groups, with American Indian youths being more than three times as likely to be 'disconnected' than white youths. Overall, the rate of disconnected youth has declined in the last decade.
