Career and college readiness

Since there is no single measure that adequately demonstrates career and college readiness, we present a series of indicators that together work as a proxy measure. The first of these, measuring the percentage of Minnesota students who are proficient in high school level math and reading, looks at students before they begin college or their careers. The following four measure this readiness by looking at performance and other factors after students have left preparatory K-12 education.1
