SWIFT Update June 24, 2016

SWIFT Availability (including Supplier Portal and Mobile Inventory)

SWIFT will be unavailable on Thursday, June 30, 2016, beginning at 6 p.m. for soft close. The system will become available on Friday, July 1, 2016, at approximately 12:00 p.m, once soft close is complete.  A system notification email will be sent to users when the system becomes available.

EPM Batch

The EPM batch will be delayed on July 1st. An update will be sent to the SWIFT Data Warehouse email list once batch is complete.

Reminder to Buyers: Avoid Scheduling Events to Close on July 1st

Buyers please be aware of the system downtime. This includes the Supplier Portal. Depending on when the system comes up, vendors may or may not have time to enter bid responses if an event is scheduled to close on July 1, 2016.

Contracts Update: Annual Plans (APK's) Now Require a T-Number

The SWIFT Supplier Contracts module has been updated to require a MMD Contract Release Number/T-Number for all new Annual Plan (APK) contracts.
This change affects any APK contracts entered with a contract Begin Date of 7/1/2016 or greater.

APK Contract Error

APK contracts that have already been entered for FY 2017 will encounter the requirement for the T-Number if the contract is set to Opened status for any reason and then saved. Adding the T-Number should allow the contract to process normally.

Additional assistance can be found on the SWIFT Reference Guide page.
