SWIFT Update February 5 2015

Strategic Sourcing Event Update - Default Bid Factors No Longer Re-Populate After Being Deleted

Previously, default bid factors re-populated on events if an update was made to the event line details (quantity, price, category, etc.) or if a new line(s) was added to the event after the bid factors had been deleted.

The functionality has been updated so that default bid factors no longer re-populate on events once the bid factors have been deleted. Please note that this only applies to scenarios where the event has been saved. Therefore, it is recommended to always save the event after updates / changes have been made to the event bid factors.

Please see below for applicable screen shots.

Event Bid Factor page
Default Bid Factors populate on the page once an event line(s) is added to the event. The specific bid factors that default is determined by the Procurement Type selection on the Main Event page.

Bid Factors can be added and removed as necessary on the page.
• To delete bid factors, select the Select for deletion check box for the bid factor(s) that should be deleted and click the Delete Selected Records button.
• To add bid factors, click the plus (+) sign and select the applicable bid factor via the search.
• When the applicable bid factor updates are completed, click the Save Event Changes button.

Note: If bid factors are deleted and the updates are not saved, the default bid factors will re-populate on the event if an update is made to the event line or if additional lines are added to the event.
