Eligibility

  • Be a Minnesota resident.
  • Have an annual household income at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
  • Must be paying more than 30% of the household's annual income on rent.
  • Must not currently be receiving any tenant or project based Section 8 or other federal rental assistance.
Priority is given to households with children 18 years of age and under that have annual income less than 30% of the AMI.

Contact your local Program Administrator to apply. A map of current program administrators by county is available online. This program may be full or may have a waiting list.
