An Employment Network (EN) is a Social Security approved agency that provides free employment services and other types of support to people on the Ticket to Work program.
The Ticket to Work program is a free, voluntary employment program for adults, ages 18 - 64, who get Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and are ready to work, or make more money at a job they already have. This program helps people safely explore work options and understand what happens to their benefits when they go to work.
Each Employment Network agency may offer a range of services and serve people with specific types of disabilities. The EN will coordinate and provide services to help people find and keep a job. Some types of services that ENs provide are free career counseling, training, job placement and ongoing support once you start working.
You may assign your Ticket to Work to an Employment Network (EN) or a State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agency, which is also an approved Employment Network.
