Adaptations to your home to remove barriers for people with disabilities or age-related concerns. Modifications may include wheelchair ramps, grab bars, door widening, lowering countertops and other changes to make life easier and safer. Work can range from simple changes, like replacing doorknobs with pull handles, to major structural projects such as bathroom re-design.

Aging in Place is a program that partners with people age 65+ to make modifications to the safety and accessibility of your home.
Safety and accessibility improvements may include:
- Hand railings
- Grab bars
- Door and knob replacements and locks
- Widening of doorways
- Roll under accessible sinks
- Raised toilet seats
- Tub and shower modifications
- Smoke and carbon dioxide detectors
- Kitchen cabinet accessibility
- Washer and dryer moves to main level
- Lighting - hallways, timers, exterior
- Flooring - tripping hazards and stair treads
