Health Care Providers

MNsure is a new health insurance marketplace that is geared to offer health coverage to many who are uninsured. Overall, we will serve 1.2 million individuals, families and small employers across the state.

We know that health insurance is one part of the formula for an overall better health care system, and that health care delivery is another important piece—which is why we have engaged with representatives from your industry in discussions on how to develop MNsure in a way that best serves the needs of all Minnesotans.

We look forward to continuing the conversation.

Health Care Provider Quality Data

The MNsure and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) are collaborating on the design and launch of web-based public reporting of health care provider quality data. MDH collects these data through the Statewide Quality Reporting and Measurement System (SQRMS), a cornerstone of the 2008 state health reform law. The MNsure and MDH are working with the MNsure's technology vendor to develop a display design of how these data for clinics, hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers may be published in a consumer-friendly way.

We'll keep you informed on our progress.

Outreach

We are planning a robust effort to reach people in their communities and inform them about the new MNsure marketplace. As a trusted community resource, we would like to partner with you on grassroots outreach. For more information, contact our Communications and Marketing Director, Mary Sienko.
