Nature of Misconduct:  Violating a law related to the practice of medicine; unprofessional conduct; failure to maintain adequate medical records; improper prescribing practices.

Action Taken:  Dr. Frankwitz’s license is conditioned as follows:

1. She is reprimanded.
2. She shall successfully complete a pre-approved course in medical records management.
3. She shall write a paper, for review and approval by the Complaint Review Committee, discussing what she has learned from her research of peer-reviewed studies regarding the effectiveness of hormone replacement therapy.
4. She shall pay a $1,000 civil penalty.
5. This Order shall remain in effect for a minimum of one year.

1. She shall voluntarily surrender her license to practice medicine and surgery in Minnesota.
2. Upon the surrender of his license, the Board agrees to close its files in this matter.
3. Should she seek re-license in Minnesota, the Board may reopen its investigation.

a. Medical records management.
b. Diagnosis and treatment of infected joints.
3. Following successfully complete of the pre-approved coursework, he shall write, and submit for Committee approval, a paper describing what he has learned and how he has implemented this knowledge into his practice.
4. He shall pay a $1,849.55 civil penalty.
5. He may petition for reinstatement of an unconditional license upon successful completion of the terms of this Order.

Action Taken:  Ms. Robertson’s license is suspended as follows:

1. She is reprimanded.
2. Her license is indefinitely suspended.
3. During the suspension, she shall not in any manner practice as a respiratory therapist in Minnesota.
4. She may petition for reinstatement of her license upon submission of satisfactory evidence that she is fit and competent to resume practice as a respiratory therapist with reasonable skill and safety.
5. She shall sign releases allowing the Board to obtain her medical, mental health, evaluation, therapy, chemical dependency, or other records.
6. Upon petitioning for reinstatement, she shall appear before the Complaint Review Committee, which may recommend that the Board continue, modify, or remove the suspension or impose conditions and restrictions as deemed necessary.
