Mission


The mission of the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy is to protect the public through effective licensure and enforcement of the statutes and rules governing its licensees to ensure a standard of competent and ethical practice.

June 26, 2015-OET E-licensing Surcharge
The OET surcharge fee that is currently being collected with every new license application and license renewal application expires June 30, 2015. Any new license application or renewal application received on or before June 30, 2015, will need to include the OET surcharge fee. Any new license application or license renewal application received on or after July 1, 2015, should not include the OET surcharge fee. If renewing online, the OET surcharge fee will be collected until midnight on June 30, 2015.

July 29, 2014-Current LPC to LPCC Conversion Application Method Expiring
If you wish to submit an application under the current LPC to LPCC conversion method, your application and application fee must be postmarked or received in the Board office by July 31, 2014.

May 28, 2013-BBHT's Phone Number has Changed
As of today, our main phone number has changed to 612.548.2177. Please use this number when calling the BBHT office. Direct numbers for staff members have not changed.
