  • Executive Order 14-15
    September 22, 2014 - The Governor’s Executive Order creates The Governor’s Task Force on the Protection of Children to advise the Governor and Legislature on system and practice improvements in the child protection system at all levels of government within the State of Minnesota.
  • Executive Order 14-14
    August 04, 2014 - The Governor’s Executive Order instructs Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) and the State Director for Equal Opportunity to develop a model for recruitment and hiring strategies to increase the employment of people with disabilities. It also requires all state agencies to develop plans for promoting employment opportunities for Minnesotans with disabilities, and to begin reporting their progress on a quarterly basis. The Order also directs MMB to develop ways to help employees to more easily update their disability status with their employer.

    July 30, 2014 - Governor Dayton today created The Governor’s Committee on the University of Minnesota Medical School to advise the Governor and Legislature on future strategies, investments, and actions to strengthen the position of the University’s Medical School.

    June 19, 2014 - Gov. Mark Dayton today declared a State of Emergency in 35 Minnesota counties following recent storms and flooding. The Executive Order makes a wide range of state resources available and engages state agencies in response efforts.
