Governor Dayton Honors Victims of Arizona Shooting

St. Paul—As a sign of respect for the victims of the tragic shooting in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, January 8, 2011, Governor Mark Dayton has signed a proclamation ordering all flags at state buildings in Minnesota be lowered to half-staff until sunset on January 14, 2011.

In solidarity with the rest of the nation, Governor Dayton, Lieutenant Governor Prettner Solon and their staff will observe the National Moment of Silence at 10:00 a.m. CST, honoring the victims and survivors of the shooting.
