Governor Dayton signs Emergency Executive Order 11-20 to provide assistance to South Dakota

Today, Governor Mark Dayton issued Emergency Executive Order 11-20, to provide assistance for the State of South Dakota, in support of ongoing flood response operations.  This order is in response to an Emergency Management Assistance Compact Interstate Mutual Aid Request for Assistance that was received from the State of South Dakota on June 5, 2011.  The Emergency Executive Order authorizes the Adjutant General of Minnesota to order to state active duty any personnel, equipment and resources of the military forces of the State that are required to provide assistance in responding to the emergency and in providing emergency relief services.
