February 15, 2013 - ST. PAUL, MN – For 40 years, members of the Minnesota National Guard and the Norwegian Home Guard have participated in an exchange program that promotes good will, improves cultural understanding, and sharpens military readiness between our two nations. This week, Governor Dayton will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the exchange with Minnesotan and Norwegian troops at two events; first in Minneapolis on Sunday, and then next Saturday in Oslo, Norway.
February 14, 2013 - ST. PAUL, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today it is recommending four candidates to Governor Mark Dayton for consideration to fill two current vacancies in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District. These vacancies were created upon the retirements of The Honorable Michael J. Kraker and The Honorable John R. Hawkinson. Judge Kraker’s seat will be chambered at Mahnomen in Mahnomen County and Judge Hawkinson’s seat will be chambered at Grand Rapids in Itasca County. Both seats will be chambered within the Ninth Judicial District.

February 11, 2013 - ST. PAUL, MN – Today Governor Mark Dayton announced the appointment of Nancy Lange to the Public Utilities Commission. Nancy Lange will replace Phyllis Reha. Nancy Lange’s term will begin on March 4, 2013 and extend through January 7, 2019.
February 07, 2013 - ST. PAUL, MN –The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today that a judgeship vacancy is occurring in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District Court. The Honorable James W. Hoolihan has retired, leaving a vacancy to be chambered at Foley in Benton County in the Seventh Judicial District.

The Governor’s speech laid out a vision for investing in our state’s future, fixing our broken tax system and strengthening the middle class. In response, leaders from around Minnesota lauded the Governor for this vision.
