April 30, 2014 - ST. PAUL, MN – Tonight, Governor Mark Dayton delivered his fourth State of the State Address to a joint session of the Minnesota Legislature. In the speech, Governor Dayton highlighted important progress that has been made over the last four years to build a Better Minnesota, and outlined his vision to build on that progress. After the speech, Minnesotans from across the state responded – crediting the Governor for new investments in education, a stronger middle class, and economic development measures that have helped grow our state’s economy and create jobs. April 30, 2014 - ST. PAUL, MN –The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today that a judgeship vacancy is occurring in Minnesota’s Second Judicial District Court. This vacancy was created upon the retirement of the Honorable Gail Chang Bohr. Judge Bohr’s seat will be chambered at St. Paul in Ramsey County.
April 30, 2014 - BAYPORT – Window and door maker Andersen Corporation is planning an $18 million expansion project that will create 100 full-time jobs at its manufacturing facility in Bayport, Minnesota.
April 29, 2014 - ST. PAUL, MN – This afternoon, the Online Voter Registration Bill passed with bipartisan support in the Minnesota Senate by a vote of 41-24. The Minnesota House of Representatives passed the bill several weeks ago by a vote of 129-2. Governor Mark Dayton plans to sign the bill into law as soon as he receives it this evening. April 29, 2014 - ST. PAUL, MN – Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed seven bills into law. One of the bills Governor Dayton signed into law today (HF2937) includes 7 Unsession provisions the Governor recommended to the Legislature in early March. Altogether, 53 Unsession provisions have now become law.
