  • 1.3 Million Minnesotans to Benefit from New Health Insurance Marketplace
    March 20, 2013 - An estimated 1.3 million Minnesotans will benefit from legislation signed into law today by Governor Mark Dayton, including nearly 300,000 Minnesotans who are currently uninsured. The bill (HF5/SF1) – which establishes a new marketplace where Minnesotans can choose quality, affordable health coverage – will save Minnesota families and businesses an estimated $1 billion in health care costs by 2016.

    March 15, 2013 - The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today it is recommending four candidates to Governor Mark Dayton for consideration to fill the vacancy in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District. This vacancy was created upon the appointment of the Honorable John P. Smith to the Minnesota Court of Appeals. This seat will be chambered at Walker in Cass County within the Ninth Judicial District.

    March 15, 2013 - Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed Emergency Executive Order 13-02, providing relief from regulations to certain motor carriers and drivers operating in Minnesota, due to extreme weather conditions and lack of snow cover that have created freezing of septic systems over much of Minnesota.

PAUL, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today it is recommending three candidates to Governor Mark Dayton for consideration to fill the upcoming vacancy on Minnesota’s Supreme Court. This vacancy will occur upon the retirement of The Honorable Paul H. Anderson at the end of May.
