May 24, 2013 - Today, Governor Mark Dayton acted on the remainder of the pending legislation from the 2013 legislative session in Minnesota, including the omnibus transportation bill and the 2013 bonding bill. Chapter 123 will be deposited after the deadline and will become law without the Governor’s signature; and Chapter 124, a constitutional amendment, will be deposited with the Secretary of State without the Governor’s signature.

PAUL, MN – Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed Emergency Executive Order 13-07, delivering Emergency relief from regulations incorporated in Minnesota Statutes, section 221.0314, subdivision 9, pertaining to hours of service for carriers and drivers of commercial motor vehicles while in the process of obtaining and transporting motor fuels.

PAUL, MN – Today, Governor Mark Dayton signed Emergency Executive Order 13-06, delivering assistance to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, by the Adjutant General of Minnesota, for support for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant Drill and Exercise and Wabasha Reception Center Drill Exercise.
May 14, 2013 - Today, Governor Dayton signed Emergency Executive Order 13-05, providing for emergency assistance to the Minnesota Interagency Fire Center, due to extreme weather conditions that have caused 25 wildfires, including a major uncontrolled wildfire exceeding 4,000 acres in the vicinity of Red Lake, Minnesota.
May 14, 2013 - Governor Mark Dayton has proclaimed Wednesday, May 15, 2013, as Law Enforcement Memorial Day in Minnesota, as a tribute to Peace Officers who lost their lives or were injured in the line of duty. On this Law Enforcement Memorial Day, the families of Minnesotans, Tom Decker, killed in the line of duty on November 29, 2012, and Josh Lynaugh, who died in the line of duty on February 16, 2013, will be dedicating the names of their loved ones on the National Law enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C.
