The MSP Export Initiative will focus on growing exports; increasing the global visibility of the region and helping companies get their products to foreign markets. The initiative was developed through a partnership between the Minnesota Trade Office, the City of Minneapolis, and the Brookings Institution.

    March 19, 2012 - Today, Governor Dayton announced that he has proclaimed tomorrow, March 20, 2012 to be Gopher Women’s Hockey National Champions Day, after the University of Minnesota Women’s Hockey Team defeated the University of Wisconsin 4-2 in the NCAA Division I Women’s Hockey 2012 Frozen Four championship game, earning them the distinction of being the NCAA Division I Champions for the year 2012.
