    September 12, 2014 - Organizations that help older Minnesotans stay in their homes as they age are receiving more than $5.3 million in funds appropriated by the Minnesota Legislature and Gov. Mark Dayton, and awarded by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

    September 10, 2014 - A Medicaid-funded home care provider who operated two programs in Woodbury was sentenced in Ramsey District County Court to pay restitution totaling $20,791, serve 30 days in the Ramsey County Workhouse and forfeit any employment where he could access Medicaid funds.

    August 22, 2014 - Adult protective services, home and community services for seniors, Indian Elder Desk, Ombudsman for Long -Term Care and nursing homes content is moving within the DHS website today. The move is part of a redesign of the department's public website to improve its usability.
  • State Fair booth to highlight Senior LinkAge Line's 20th anniversary
    August 19, 2014 - DHS is involved in several efforts at this year’s Minnesota State Fair, which begins Thursday, Aug. 21, and runs through Monday, Sept. 1. This year the Minnesota Board on Aging booth in the Education Building will highlight the 20th anniversary of the Senior LinkAge Line®.
