The annual event is designed to educate the public about the role manufacturing plays in the state’s economy, and to highlight opportunities for employment in the industry.
  • DEED Awards Grants for Redevelopment Projects
    October 17, 2013 - DEED awarded redevelopment grants for seven projects that are expected to create 244 jobs and retain another 800 jobs. The $2.7 million in grants were awarded under the agency’s Redevelopment Grant Program to prepare blighted sites that will be redeveloped in Chatfield, Duluth, Fridley, Minneapolis, St. Cloud and St. Paul.
