The Minnesota Youth Program provides short-term employment and training services to low-income and at-risk youth ages 14 to 21 who lack the academic and applied skills considered critical in the workplace.
A Focus on Work Readiness and Experience
The top predictor of future success in the workplace is early exposure to work experience.
Work readiness training focuses on the basics that employers expect: attendance, punctuality, teamwork, communication skills, and problem-solving. Training sessions are interactive.
