Terms and Conditions of Use

The information contained in the ALMIS Employer Database is proprietary data licensed under contract from info USA for the specific uses and users defined in the Master Contract and State license agreements. No other uses or users are permitted. Violation of the terms of agreement may result in the loss of use of this information not only for the sub-licensee, but for the State licensee and may result in additional legal action.

Who Can Use It?

Intermediate Users shall include:

  • One-stop career centers.
  • Workforce development boards.
  • The public job service.
  • Public welfare agencies.
  • State employment statistics agencies as defined under section 309 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 and any successor legislation.
  • All mandatory and option partners described under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, Chapter 3, Section 121.b(1)(B) and the Workforce Investment Act, Chapter 3, Section 121, (c) (2)(b) and any successor legislation, and other partner agencies.

What Can It Be Used For?

Intermediate Uses shall include job development, employment support services and related public workforce development system efforts. Output derived from the ALMIS Employer Database can be used to generate mailing lists to be used for these purposes only.

The ALMIS Employer Database must be used by only approved “users” for only those approved “uses” listed above. Usage must meet both criteria.

It is the responsibility of the sub-licensee to maintain appropriate data security policies and procedures that will control access to the ALMIS Employer Database and take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized usage of the ALMIS Employer Database. These policies and procedures shall include appropriate staff training and supervision in the use of the ALMIS Employer Database.

2. Any violations of the terms of this sub-license must be corrected immediately upon discovery. Notification of such violation and subsequent corrective action must be provided to the DEED LMI Office at 651-296-6545 within one business day.

3. Do Not Call/Do Not Fax. It is the Intermediate Users’ responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations including but not limited to “do not call” and “do not fax” regulations.

4. Copyright Notice. Each display of an ALMIS Employer Database record, independent of the media and method of delivery, shall include the following copyright notice: “Employer information is provided by infoUSA®, Omaha, NE, 800/555-5211. Copyright ©. All Rights Reserved.”

You will soon receive a password that will provide Intermediate User access to the ALMIS Employer Database. Please provide your e-mail.

In order to register to use the Employers Search tool, you will have to agree and abide by the above contract.
