Diverse Demographic

People With Disabilities Have Diverse Backgrounds, Talents, Experiences
Studies show that people who have disabilities cross all other minority segments, and are as diverse in ability, interests and skills as the population at large.

They are employed in a wide variety of professions, at companies of all sizes, and at all organizational levels from the lowest level worker to the highest level executive.

Though stereotypes abound, it is simply not possible to make generalized assumptions about people who have disabilities.

In Minnesota, individuals seeking employment or re-employment include individuals with a wide range of conditions, represent all cultural and ethnic groups, and bring a wide variety of education and experiences to the table.

Minnesotans employed through MN Vocational Rehabilitation services have diverse conditions, work in all size businesses, and work in a wide variety of industries and professions.
