This grant program will assist local governments in the purchase and installation of renewable energy, combined heat and power, district energy or geothermal heating and cooling systems. For the Local Government Renewable Energy Grant Program, "local government" means a public school district, home rule charter or statutory city, county, regional government, park district, port authority, or town.
