This grant program will assist local governments, public schools and park districts with the cost of making energy efficient improvements to existing buildings and facilities. The amount of energy saved and labor hours paid relative to grant funds requested; and the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions were primary factors in assessing an applicant's potential to achieve this purpose.
