Minnesotans can get $100 discount for wind resource assessment workshop

The first 10 Minnesotans to register for the June 20 wind resource assessment workshop will get a $100 discount, thanks to sponsorship provided by the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources (DER). The workshop is a post-conference half-day workshop of the 2013 Small Wind Conference on June 18-19 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Stevens Point, Wis. In addition to the two-day conference and post-conference workshop, a pre-conference workshop titled “Fundamentals of Tower Climbing and Equipment Safety” will be held June 17.

The wind resource assessment workshop will cover options for wind resource assessment, how to estimate performance of a wind turbine, and monitoring production. Cost for this workshop is $150.
