MN Building Performance Network

2010-11 instructor program designed to increase access to BPI Certified Training in MN by supporting training and certification of energy efficiency and building science training statewide. Instructor candidates can contact Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College for more information. Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College currently offers BPI-approved training in Building Analyst and Envelope Training.

BPI Certification of Residential Energy Professionals

The following organizations have been selected to join the MN Building Performance Network BPI Train the Trainer Program. Up to three instructors from each institution were trained and certified in 2010 as Building Analyst Instructors by the Building Performance Institute (BPI). Some instructors will also pursue additional instructor certifications in Envelope, Heating, and/or Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Professionals.

Midwest Solar Training Network

The 2010-2015 Midwest Solar Training Network is an intructor training program run by Midwest Renewable Energy Association that is designed to increase and improve solar installer training in the Midwest. Minnesota is one of six states identified for the ISPQ Accredited Solar Train the Trainer program. Instructor candidates contact the Minnesota Renewable Energy Society for more information. The Solar Instructor Training Program promotes solar training opportunities for the solar industry workforce.

Minnesota Jobs Skills Partnership Program


This program offers training grants to offset training-related expenses incurred by business, industry and educational institutions.
