Weatherization work on Minnesota residences involves two separate types of funding. Part of it is the regular funding received each year from the US Department of Energy (DOE). A larger part is currently supported by specially earmarked American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds.

This data reflects number of residences weatherized to date. The number of dwellings counted as having been weatherized in prior months may change as each new month's completions are posted to the website. This is due to several factors, including the timing used by the state's weatherization service providers to assign completion status to recent and past dwellings in the system tracking software.
