ST. PAUL, MN – On June 30, 2016, Governor Mark Dayton announced the following appointments to the Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.
Steven Chies – Coon Rapids, MN
Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators
Proprietary Nursing Home Administrator
Effective: June 28, 2016
Also appointed on behalf of the Minnesota Department of Health, Michelle Ness acting as an ex-officio member.

LNHA Job Posting Service

A LNHA requested that BENHA provide a job posting service which is now live on the website with a limited group of postings. The Board supports the existing association model of job postings and added this feature as another resource to connect the LNHA to communities requiring a LNHA as their administrator of record.  Since it is a trial period, the board appreciates any feedback to improve this new service.

The Minnesota Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators (“Board”) continues with formal rulemaking with the public Dual Notice, published June 20, 2016 in the State Register.  The Board anticipates proceeding with the proposed rules, unless a public hearing is requested per this notice. The board filed with the Office of Administrative Hearings the following items for review and comment.   There have been modest changes in the original proposed language of July, 2015.
