  • 9-character national uniform ear tagging system (Ex: 41ABC1234)
• 15-digit Animal Identification Number tag beginning with the prefix 840, 982, or 985
• Breed registration tattoo with breed registry number listed on the test record
  • Pending breed registration numbers are not acceptable

Cattle and bison brucellosis vaccination

• USDA metal ear tag
  • 9-character national uniform ear tagging system (Ex: 41ABC1234)
  • Includes brucellosis vaccination ear tags
• 15-digit Animal Identification Number tag beginning with the prefix 840, 982, or 985
• Breed registration tattoo with breed registry number listed on the test record
  • If the registration number is unavailable, the name of the breed registry or intended breed registry can be used in lieu of the registration number

* 'Cattle' includes all animals of the Bos genus.
